Getting to Know Pastor Keith

Keith Magee

What do you do at Trinity?
I am the senior pastor at Trinity, a job I love to do.

How long have you been at Trinity?
I started on July 1, 1995
.

How did you come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?
I accepted the Lord as my savior when I was five years old.  My brother lead me to the Lord on my dad’s farm.

What do you think God is teaching you right now, at this point in your life?
I feel the greatest thing I am learning is God’s amazing grace toward me.  As  I live that grace I not only apply it toward me but toward all people.  I try to  see them as God seems them.  I believe we have such a merciful God.

What do you love to do in your spare time?
I love to watch college football.  In the fall it is my favorite time of the year.   Not only because of the beautiful colors but nothing beats a great college football team.

What is your favorite food?
I love to cook so I have a lot of great food that I like.  It is hard to beat a  really great BBQ.  Grilling wither it is vegetables, meat or fish is just outstanding.  I could stand over a BBQ for hours and never wear out.

What is one thing most people don't know about you?
In my former life, as I tell my closest friends, I was a little league baseball coach and manager for my kids for 18 years.  We went to little league playoffs and I send all my Saturday’s at a little league  field.  My oldest son Lee actually played on the Yucaipa High School  baseball team that won the Southern California Division III Baseball Championship.  They were the first team to win a state high school  championship for Yucaipa high.  The game was played at Angel’s stadium.
