Our Purpose
Our Vision
Being disciples of Jesus Christ, led by the Holy Spirit, we worship and serve God. We actively engage our community by bringing the good news of salvation. Embracing every person with Christ's love, peace, and joy our will be be transformed.
What We Believe
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God. We believe
there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit. We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life,
His death on the cross for our sins, His resurrection and return. We believe
that all persons are sinners by nature and condemned by God. We believe God in
His grace has provided salvation for all who call upon Him.
Our Mission
Our mission it to glorify God by seeking to present every person complete in Christ.
We care about people. We are so excited about our relationship with God that we desire to introduce others to Him. Together, we pursue God and prepare people to obey, serve and live with Him forever.
Our Seven Core
Values
Outreach - Introducing those next door and around the world to the Savior
Worship - Exalting God together
Instruction - Studying to know, understand and obey God's truth
Community - Sharing our lives with one another
Prayer - Acknowledging our dependence on Him to accomplish the mission
Service - Fulfilling our call to prepare people
Stewardship - Managing what we have for maximum investment in God's
kingdom
Our Environments to
Accomplish the Mission
The only way to accomplish our mission in our church is to be a church
of small groups. This provides all of us the shepherding and community we need
to grow toward Christ-likeness. Therefore, our two primary environments to
accomplish the mission are corporate worship service and small groups.
These two environments are essential to be properly cared for and encouraged in
our Christian walk. You'll notice as you go through the Ministry pages of
the that the staff structure reflects a high emphasis on small groups
as our shepherding strategy for our paid staff. We, as a staff, seek to model
this shepherding strategy and encourage each of you to experience our two
primary environments as well as we seek to glorify God by presenting every
person complete in Christ.
